Ms. Somers is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and obtained her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is unrivaled amongst her peers in her knowledge and practice of child custody matters, in which she has chosen to specialize. Ms. Somers has also lent her skills as a mediator to the Los Angeles Superior Court Conciliation Court.
