Education: Ms. Takesh obtained her law degree in 1996 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she was on the Deans Honor List. Prior to that time, she attended UCLA where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Political Science and in History, and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Takesh has lectured on various family law related topics and has served as mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Takesh was a chair of the Family Law Section of the Santa Monica Bar Association for 2006. She is the President of the Board of Directors of the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, a non-profit provider of family law legal services to low income individuals. She has also been a contributing editor for the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Ms. Takesh has been selected as a Southern California Rising Star for 2004 through 2008 by Los Angeles Magazine, Super Lawyers edition, through peer nomination, and independent research and review process.
